In everything I do, I begin with memory, but I rethink it in a new way.

Multi-award-winning designer, Patricia Urquiola works and collaborates with the most important Italian companies and brands, always experimenting with new techniques: she has designed ceramic tiles, fabrics and glassware along with a variegated collection of chairs, tables, sofas and desks. On the other hand her architectural projects include beautiful homes, retail projects and hotels, such as the Il Sereno Hotel.

Her widely known designs reflect her colorful yet functional and pragmatic style, which combines creativity with purpose. Having learnt how to craft in Italy, Patricia Urquiola focus on manufacturing and the research of high quality materials, experimenting with the renovation of classic shapes and lines.
