Based in Macherio near Brianza, Didoni is a family-run business passionately dedicated to manufacturing precious and semi-precious stones. From the purchase of rough materials to the creation of each piece, every step of production is carried out in-house by a team of experts in partnership with renowned architects and designers. Since the mid-‘70s, Didoni has transformed the essential elegance of stones such as tiger’s eye, malachite, lapis lazuli, quartz, and amethyst into exquisite and personalized home décor objects and accessories.

Lamberti Design

Lamberti Design was established in the 1970s in Cava de’ Tirreni, on the Amalfi Coast, as a small metalworking workshop making steel doors, window frames, and balusters. Through creative collaborations with architects and interior designers, it soon became known for its high-quality, handcrafted metal products. Specialized in all types of metals (stainless steel, corten, iron, brass, copper, and aluminum), dedicated artisans masterfully execute all designs with each production stage, from polishing and welding to applying custom-made finishes.

Angela Di Folco

Veneto, Italy | Ceramist

Based in Bassano del Grappa in the Veneto region, Angela Di Folco graduated in Fine Arts following her childhood passion for painting and drawing. She has participated in numerous shows and competitions and had her first solo exhibition in the town of Nove, near Vicenza, renowned for its ceramic tradition. Inspired by this new medium, in 2015 she started a limited series of plates and since 2017 she has perfected the art of transferring her nature-inspired studies onto on porcelain and wood, showcasing expressionist sensibility and stunning attention to detail.

Meroni and Colzani started out as two separate businesses specialized in furniture and upholstery since the ‘60s. As two third generation, family-run companies operating in the cabinet making district of Brianza near Milan, they eventually merged to unite their tradition and sartorial expertise into one brand. Meroni & Colzani use the finest wood, leather, and fabric coupled with the latest technologies to produce sophisticated modern pieces for the home.

Venini

Veneto, Italy | Glassmith

Iconic glassmaking company Cappellin Venini &C. was founded in 1921 by Paolo Venini and Giacomo Cappelin. Divided and renamed Vetri Soffiati Muranesi Venini in 1925, it soon became a well-recognized name in artistic glass production, reaching its golden age in the 1980s with important collaborations with distinguished artists, designers, and architects. Venini’s exquisite blown glass objects represent the perfect marriage between Murano’s tradition and original designs by artists like Alessandro Mendini, Gio Ponti, Ettore Sottsass, and Carlo Scarpa, just to name a few. Sicis

Emilia-Romagna, Italy | Designer

In 1987, Maurizio Leo Placuzzi founded Sicis in Ravenna, a town where artistic mosaics have flourished since the fall of the Roman Empire in the 5th century AD. Each mosaic is made in Sicis’ workshop executed by the expert hands of a dedicated team of artisans, all graduates from the Ravenna Musive Art Academy. Inspired by ancient splendors and contemporary aesthetic, Sicis furniture is distinctive for its sophisticated finishes and precious fabrics reminiscent of mosaic patterns.

Susanna Alberti

Lombardia, Italy | Ceramist

Susanna Alberti is an illustrator and ceramist from Bergamo. After studying fine arts in her hometown, she graduated in Visual Arts from the IUAV University in Venice and in 2015 earned a master degree in illustration at the MiMaster in Milan. At that same time, her passion for ceramics grew and started Susi Ceramics in 2015, a line of decorative objects exuding a distinctive expressive flair, entirely crafted and painted by hand in vibrant colors.

Francesco Morlin founded Ceramiche Artistiche Edelweiss in 1970 and, since then, the Morlin family has kept artisan ceramic tradition alive by crafting unique and modern pieces inspired by nature. The workshop is located in the town of Nove (Vicenza), known as the “City of Ceramics” for its internationally established tradition of high-quality ceramic production. Paola Caselli

Toscana, Italy | Ceramist

Driven by a lifelong creative passion, Paola Caselli lives and works in Florence where she produces exclusive, hand-painted porcelain plates made using the underglaze technique. The inspiration for her delicate watercolor creations draws from classic books by European botanical illustrators, notably Italian artist Maria Rita Stirpe. Fine porcelain serves as her ideal canvas to hand-transfer her original sketches before setting the vibrant colors with a second firing and an enamel coating.

Since 2015, Alice Reina becomes biancodichina, a contemporary porcelain studio working on the boundaries between design, craftsmanship and art, between useful and useless. The imagery is drawn from her readings and nature - which she takes time to observe - and it’s guided by her lateral thinking, channeled, just enough, by her studies in architecture. Porcelain almost immediately proved to be the perfect material to give shape to this imaginary: a precious, pure and challenging material of which she gladly supports the anarchist nature. Biancodichina’s work is inspired by its plastic properties and is driven by the curiosity to manipulate porcelain to its limits, reaching unexpected results. She create objects whose shapes, transparency and surface finishes make us doubt about their consistency or even the materials they are made of.

Notempo is a design furnishing firm established by Sicilian architects Marco Bracchitta, Sebastiano Leotta, and Gandolfo Marabeti, who trained between Palermo and Turin and developed individual professional paths in Italy and abroad. Guided by their passion for the wealth of the Italian manufacturing sector, the founding architects focused first and foremost on craftsmanship and assembled a team of skilled artisans to translate their modern designs in tradition-inspired pieces.
