Bel Air Armchair by Peter Shire - Memphis Milano

A superb accent piece of strong visual impact in a contemporary or eclectic interior, this armchair was designed in 1982 by Peter Shire. Its asymmetrical silhouette and use of contrasting colors make it a splendid example of the Memphis aesthetic. The backrest is a quarter of a circle, strikingly highlighted by two different hues and by an imposing cylindrical armrest, while the seat curls outwards to create the other armrest. The white base is made up of two different shapes. Wool fabric covers this stunning piece for a unique final effect.
