Simbiosi is a pair of hand-woven natural rattan vases, joined by a red silk thread. The project celebrates the intimate relationship between craftsman and object, initiating a dialogue between material and gesture. The silk thread that connects the two vases emphasizes the concept, metaphorically recalling the umbilical cord that binds the mother to her child, the craftsman to her creation. The matte Poppy Red painted metal base enhances the aesthetics of Simbiosi.
