Pottery Roma

Pottery Roma is the ceramic studio of Walter Cipriani, a Roman artisan of the fourth generation. Drawing inspiration from ancient Roman marble and Etruscan ceramics, Walter uses a unique technique - developed through years of expertise in stucco marble and restoration - to handcraft striking, marble-like stoneware vessels. Each piece, made by coloring clay with natural pigments, is one of a kind. He collaborated with Kerstin Brätsch on a series of stuccomarmo and scagliola works, which have been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Venice Biennale, and the Fondazione Memmo in Rome.
