Diego Poloniato is a master ceramicist specialized in traditional “cuchi” and “arcicuchi”, typical Venetian terracotta whistles. Founded in 1990, his laboratory is located in Nove, a little town near Venice renowned for its artistic ceramics, where he creates ornaments and sculptures by merging various modeling, coloring, and detailing techniques. Poloniato’s works feature animals and famous literary characters such as Pinocchio. In 2020, Poloniato received the prestigious accolade MAM – Maestro d’Arte e Mestieri from the Fondazione Cologni for his works.
