BETTISATTI, formed by Donata Mariasole Betti and Michele Citti, was born in tune with the work and research of the design studio started in the Tuscan district of Lucca in 2013.
Bettisatti is involved in the design, creationand marketing of objects of furnishing contemporary design and elements of the architectural sector.
Starting from the link between artisanal stone culture and industrial production, a peculiar trait of the Tuscan territory since the 1960s, marble and stone are associated with other materials to make furnishing objects and kitchen accessories that often do not exist in the market of reference. Characterized by elements of novelty in both aesthetic and functional aspects, the Bettisatti products are aimedat a refined audience, which does not necessarily require the mass production in large numbers; this allows in the production processes and during the stages of assembly to impart a very high level of quality to the individual element.
Following a path ofexperimentation, arising from dialectical confrontation and the contamination of different professionalism, the design method has been refined on a scale craft and industrial scale to innovate and optimize production processes, placing at the center technological innovation and forging synergistic ties between designers and suppliers of the raw materials.
Each project aims to provide the user with a critical key to contemporary living, addressing issues related to food, sharing, non-waste and the dialecticbetween different peoples and different cultures, enhancing their relational, cultural and aesthetic experiences.
