Nathalie Du Pasquier was born in Bordeaux, France in 1957, but lives in Milan since 1979. In Milan Nathalie Du Pasquier met her husband, the designer George Sowden, who introduced her to the world of design. In 1981, Nathalie Du Pasquier became a designer and co-founding member of the iconic postmodern design movement Memphis Group, together with Ettore Sottsass, Alessandro Mendini, Andrea Branzi and other iconic designers.

Nathalie du Pasquier made a unique contribution in feeding and creating the Memphis iconic style, designing numerous decorated surfaces, including: textiles, carpets, furniture and plastic laminates, all carrying her distinctive colorful and exotic style. Her style is incredibly unique and highly recognizable - bright colors mix with bold lines to create one of a kind patterns.
