Tremene Rug

Crafted using 100% Sardinian wool on a vertical loom, this elegant rug is made by hand to order, requiring 30 days to be completed. Its local influences are noticeable in the intricate geometric pattern and in the distinctive craftsmanship, while a contemporary aesthetic is visible in the minimalist allure and striking vivid color palette of the piece. Its thickness is 4-5 mm and it can be displayed on either side. Some of the decorative elements are in linen and natural rafia for a striking textural contrast. This piece participated at the Domo XIX Biennale dell'Artigianato Sardo in 2009.
