Prolific ceramist Francesca Bedetti’s training began at the Ornamental Arts School, continued at the Applied Arts Laboratory, and culminated with a degree from the Italian Institute of Art, Craftsmanship, and Restoration in Rome. Her rich experiences in the most important ceramic districts such as Faenza, Deruta, and Bassano Del Grappa enabled her to master both traditional and cutting-edge techniques she later applied to her approach focused on color and light. Her Rome-based “Spazio 44” atelier is a workshop, teaching studio, and exhibition space.
