Cancer Set of Four Dessert Plates

This exquisite set of four dessert plates is part of the Zodiaco collection, featuring individually each of the twelve astrological signs and introduced at the Salone del Mobile (the Milan furniture fair) in 2017. This set is dedicated to Cancer whose symbol, a crab, is rendered in all its naturalistic details at the center of the dish. Black and white lines meet with golden ones, whose warm glow also graces the edges of the plates, representing the location of the sign in the cosmos. Name and months are written in Latin above and below the main image.
