Unurgent

Founded in 2019 in London by Nina Salsotto Cassina, Unurgent Argilla is a ceramic studio specializing in material research of non-industrial wild materials. Their small collections feature pieces handmade on a lathe or by coiling, each representing a physical connection between landscape, materials, and the handcrafted process. An auto-didact, Nina recently moved back to Italy after 10 years abroad; she works with clays sourced around Milano and rocks from Italy’s many volcanic islands for her newest collections.
