Attico Design is Cristina Celestino’s design firm: naturally evolving from her experimental work and interior design, it converts special commission projects and research activity into a small series production. Attico Design comes out with the help of Italian expert craftsmen, working with selected metals, textiles, marbles and lacquered surfaces, combining long experience with the care for detail and unique working techniques. Each piece can be a statement in both contemporary or classic décor, thanks to the use of noble materials, their fine craftsmanship, and the mix of traditional elements, combined in a modern way.

Cristina Celestino’s talent caught the attention of many renowned brands: she designed the unique Bangle Collection of beautiful modern décor made of colored marble for Budri and unique chairs and armchairs designed with sophisticated lightness, pure colors and delicate use of curves for Billiani 1911. Her experience also includes the creation of splendid vases for Botteganove, featuring a decoration vividly representing exquisitely rendered feathers, entirely hand-painted by master artisans. For Mogg she designed timelessly elegant pendant lamps, covered in fringes and inspired by the petticoat used by women in the 19th century. The same technique was used to design refined coffee tables for Editions Milano.
As an architect and interior designer Cristina Celestino works on several projects, including: hospitality, boutiques, pop-up stores and cafes. She worked with LuisaViaRoma, Fendi and Sergio Rossi going beyond the traditional relations between fashion, art and design and displaying her distinctive style through chic whimsical interiors. Special for its design and function has been the famous Tram Corallo, presented at Milan Design Week in 2018: she imagined an ideal “Cinema Corallo” that circulate in Brera, a Milano district. Through a project of totally tailor-made interior design, unusual and precious for a transport vehicle, the environment reflects the designer’s aesthetic, where precious materials and references to the past, contemporary intuitions and visionary spirit are harmoniously combined.
