Lune Sconce

Inspired by the world of planets and their satellites and part of the Lune collection ("lune" in Italian means moons), this piece of functional home decoration is made with a brass structure that pierces through a sphere in borosilicate glass that was mouth-blown according to ancient artisanal techniques. The brass is brushed with a wax coating to slow down the natural oxidation process, thus creating an alluring finish that ages gracefully over time. The result is a modern light that can be used alone or paired with others from the same series. The lightbulb is a 24V LED with 6W (equivalent of a traditional 40W), 380 lumens, 2700K.
