Tiptoe Chair

The solid wood blocks have been taken and slowly cut and sharpened into a conglomerate of edges and facets. This continuous process of subtracting material has many benefits. First it lightens the overall geometry and second it creates the necessary angles to make the chair functional. In fact despite the sculptural look of the chair, all its angles are studied to provide a comfortable seat position and practicality.
