Inspired by the Aubusson-style tapestries of the 17th and 18th centuries, this splendid rug is graced with flamboyant decorations popular among ancient monarchs. This work of art is knotted by hand in Nepal using 50% silk and 50% Himalayan wool, the warm chromatic interplay between the .05cm-high base and the .07cm-high design with 152,000 knot/sqm will bring warmth to any classic decor.
