Ultimate Landscapes 1/2 Photograph

A bird's eye view of the Presena glacier in Northern Italy, covered with white cloths that protect the ice from melting, this photograph was made in 2008 by Claudio Orlandi as part of his Ultimate Landscapes 1 Collection. Made by manually connecting each pixel, with the support of Photoshop to remove the sky from the photographs, it exudes a disturbing, apocalyptic character.
