In this stunning painting, Giusto Pilan's artistic research is symbolized by bird figures being removed from their natural context and placed in a metaphysical and mnemonic space. Distinguished by traces and footprints materializing as residue and memory of a vanished nature, it is handmade using a mixed technique: iron stencils are pressed to create human or nature-inspired figures, which are then filled with alcohol-based colors and pigments.
